Product Description These potty training pants have specially designed so that they can be pulled on and off by the toddler, without adult help. Not only does this increase the chance of getting to the potty on time, but it also makes the whole process much more independent, which is the goal of this potty training system. They have an absorbent center panel that contains the accidents, but will make your toddler uncomfortable and therefore increase her awareness of her excretory function, especially when compared to diapers and pull-ups. The potty pants feature breathable side panels, wide rib leg bands for a comfortable fit and a center panel with fiber sponge for super absorbency. These padded potty training pants are thicker and more absorbent than Gerber training pants. I highly recommend these potty training pants. They are our best sellers. These training pants are not waterproof and if you are worried about messes and leakages coming through the potty pants, we recommend using a waterproof cover over them. Care Instructions for Padded Potty Training Pants : Machine wash in warm water with like colors. Use only non-chlorinated bleach when need. Tumble dry on low to medium. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Center & Side Panels: 100% Cotton Interlining: 100% Polyester. NOTE: Washing these once before using them increases the absorbency of the padding!!

the best out there January 1, 2009 I purchased Potty Scotty (Patty), Gerber, and Luvable Friends for my son and daughter. By far I like the Potty Scotty best -- nice and thick crotch and it doesn't bunch up in the wash. Gerber rated second for me -- crotch doesn't bunch up but not quite as thick as Potty Scotty. Luvable Friends was last for me -- crotch bunches up when they're washed. They all work fine, but I always reach for the Potty Scotty first.
A Dad's Viewpoint November 29, 2008 I am a dad and we tried three different brands including Gerber. These are great for the initial phases of potty training, and also the long car ride. I hate changing entire outfits and so they fit my needs and my son's just fine. They are about the thickness of 4 regular underwear in the crotch - enough to help avoid a pants change - or the annoying car seat washing. My boy loves his "scotty potty" undies. I would still go with the "nite nite time diaper" though. The pull-ups are too expensive and my son says "they are scratchy". Much better to just stick with the traditional washing kind.
great training pants! June 17, 2008 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
These training pants are great. I purchased them specifically because Potty Scotty has an xs size, and I couldn't find any other reasonably priced training pants that were small enough for my son. The elastic around the legs are snug enough that they keep the leeks in, but yet now too snug as to leave marks. What I like about these pants the most is the padding. It's not overly thick or bulky, but just very dense and therefore soaks up a lot of pee. Before purchasing these, I had gotten some Gerber training pants that were too big and therefore caused a lot of leaks. Even if the Gerber pants had fit my son correctly, I would still have preferred these Potty Scotty pants, simply because they soak up the wetness so much more.
