Not perfect, but beats separate bedrooms or earplugsDecember 16, 2008 My husband has a narrow bridge on his nose and the slightest congestion results in snorting snoring. I have tried wearing earplugs but my ears get itchy, and I'd rather sleep with him--emphasis on "sleep" and "with him." Breathe Right strips help most of the time--they are not for the throaty choking kind of snoring that may go away if you lie on your side and may require a C-PAP machine--they are just for stuffy nose snoring. They don't seem to work on my nose when I get a stuffy nose, but they help him for the most part. The generic kind don't work nearly as well, either.
