This Bionaire room heater is compact enough to fit on a shelf, bench, table or on the floor. The digital thermostat provides accurate readings, along with automatic turn-on and shutoff. Ceramic elements use energy more efficiently than in other heater designs, while motorized oscillations quietly and efficiently spread warmth in a wide, uniform radius. The remote controls the timer, temperature and speeds. The programmable timer controls activity for up to 16 hours. There are three modes: low (750 watts), high (1500 watts) and automatic. The heater measures 21 1/2" x 9" x 9" and weighs 7 1/4 lbs. Plugs into a standard outlet; the remote uses 2 AAA batteries (order separately). Five-year warranty.

I've been using small heaters like this for 15 years, and this one is by far the best. I see that one guy on here got a defective unit, and that's a bummer. He should have returned it and gotten a new one, because this thing is fantastic. It's quieter than any other heater I've owned, and it works perfectly all the time. I've been using this heater for a year now, and have had no problems whatsoever.
The remote control is what makes this an instant favorite for me. Usually when I wake up in the morning I'm really cold and don't want to get out of bed. No problem... I just reach for the remote control and turn the heater on high. Within minutes it's warm, and I'm ready to roll out of bed.
If you're looking for a small heater for a single room (or studio apt), then (in my opinion) this is by far the best choice.

Bionaire Ceramic Tower Fan Heater is the best heater that I've ever used. It is very safe for any unseen accident such as falling down the floor or perhaps unknowingly some material could accidentally drop on the heater and cover it while it's on, the system will automatically shot off. Its strong fan blows out heat and warm the area quickly. Its remote control makes operation very convenient while the red lcd temperature number makes it very convenient to see even when you're in bed. It's all fully automatic that you can always set the timer at any time you need to start warming your room thus it saves time and money.

This heater is so great. It blows the heat at you instead of just heating itself like those other heaters. I love that it hes a thermostat on it so I know how hot it really is. The oscillation is great way to spread the heat around and the remote is just so handy.
