Product Description
The Tower fan by Bionaire uses a space-saving streamlined design. For convenience, the fan comes with a remote control operation and 7-1/2 hour timer with breeze/sleep modes, so you can change the settings from the comfort of your bed. Oscillation and 3-speed settings (high, medium, and low) will help you find the ideal breeze.

Very quiet, great overall quality. Breeze mode works wonders. Perfect for a smaller size room.

4 out of 5 stars No problems yet   October 21, 2007

I've owned this fan for about 6 months and had no problems with it whatsoever. It's quiet and has a good breeze. Assembly was easy. The speed control, sleep timer, and remote control help to make it convenient and useful. It's design is space saving, sleek and attractive.

3 out of 5 stars good for a short while   January 13, 2008

I have this fan, but i need to replace it because it squeaks so loudly. I tried to oil it, but no use. I have had it about a year, and it was fine until a couple of months ago. The fan blows a lot of air, and keeps me cool. I like the remote control feature.

3 out of 5 stars Not Bad. But Not Particularly Quiet   June 16, 2008

A shortcoming with the Bionaire Tower Fan is that it is fairly noisy in operation, which may be fine in some situations, but is not so good in a quiet office environment, which is where I had intended to use it.

Because of that, I bought a different fan for the office and have moved the Bionaire elsewhere, where it gets occasional use and where the noise is less bothersome. In its new role, it is adequate for the occasional use it gets, and the timer is useful.

Overall, the fan has been reasonable, but if I were buying again I would choose a different design.

2 out of 5 stars Junk   June 27, 2007

I had this same fan under the Holmes brand and wore it out over a couple years. I bought the Bionaire to replace it because I like it so much. I had the fan shipped to my office and promptly unpacked and assembled it. That evening I took it home and plugged it in. The fan vibrates and squeaks horribly. On low it sounds like a chicken clucking - no lie. Some bearing or bushing is bad inside. It is now in the trash because I don't want to go through the hassle of returning it. If you get a good one, it should be a great fan. Just don't throw away the box and packaging until you put it through it's paces.
