 Exactly the right pad for my humidifier December 13, 2007

This is the exact same pad that came with my GeneralAire humidifier. Held up well for the one year I used it. I replace it at the beginning of each heating season.

Went looking for the filter that would fit my General humidifier. Could not find it in the local stores (i.e., Home Depot, ACO). Could only get it from the HVAC supplier which I wanted to avoid since I didn't want to have to pay a markup. So I searched the world via the Internet to see what I could find and wow what a deal! This filter costs 3 times less than going through my HVAC supplier. Keep in mind, this humidifier and brand have been around forever so I was glad to see that I didn't have to spend alot of money on this simple maintenance item. I only ordered one since I wanted to make sure it really was the correct part. It was! It was not some imitation (copy) part like another supplier offered.

Nice price from Ace, even with shipping, was less expensive than buying local. Good Amazon buy. Would buy again.

I had trouble finding this part for an older furnace...but this was exactly what I wanted. It works great in our humidifier.

Works fine.. The only issue is that its not perfectly straight and you have to work to get it in the slot. Other than that it does the job.
