Works fine December 28, 2008
Pros:
Unit seems to be sturdy enough and the numerals are easy to read.
Responds quickly to changes (i.e. taking it outside)
Cons:
Button on front doesn't seem to function properly (not that this matters much to me)
I would recommend this to a friend who wanted a inexpensive hygrometer/thermometer.

Because proper humidification is very important to good health I wanted an instrument which displayed an accurate indication of temperature and humidity.
This item is an ideal product, the WS-9410TWC Indoor Comfort Meter. A large digital display of temperature and humidity in an attractive frame make it suitable to be placed in any location.
I'd rate it ten stars but five is max here!

We put this indoor thermometer in our baby room upstairs. It works great. We were looking for something that just gives the temp, didn't really need any other bells/whistles. The humidity level reading is a fine addition, but we really only focus on the temp. This is perfect. It appears to give an accurate temp.
Fits my need perfectly November 27, 2008
I wanted to be able to read the temperature and humidity from anywhere in the room in a device that looked good on the wall. This one meets my needs perfectly. Although, as one reviewer points out, the case is made of light plastic, this isn't a device that one handles much; and, it does not look cheap. The readout is clear and large, the classic design is clean and simple, and the dark frame harmonizes with the paintings on the wall.

i needed something for the baby's room to display just the temperature and humidity, without the complexity of a weather station. it serves the purpose.
