 Simple and powerful humidifier April 15, 2007

Don't let the "made for kids" design fool you. This is an easy-to-use, powerful humidifier. I have owned many humidifier from the very cheap ones purchased from drug stores to fancy high-end humidifiers from specialty electronic stores. This is the best one I have ever owned.
 Plastic cracked, water leaked all over the place. November 1, 2008
This humidifier worked great the first time we used it. My daughter has a cold and we brought it out again, the second night the plastic water reservoir cracked badly and about half a gallon of water leaked out. I read other reviews and we are not the first to experience this problem. Apparently the company doesn't pay shipping for returns so it's not even worth returning it and going through the hassle.
I would not buy this product again.
Also it did not originally come with the water filtering cartridge so I had to buy it separately.
