Despite reading all the negative reviews about this product, I registered for it anyway and I am so happy that I did! This is one of the most used gifts that I received after having my son. I use it every night in the nursery. My son has eczema and his doctor recommended I use a cool mist humidifier in his room at night to keep the air moist. I keep a towel under it and have had no problem with dampness. My husband and I have decided to purchase this same humidifier for another room in our home.......

I'm not sure what the deal was with these other units posted, but we have one of these and LOVE IT! When my son has a cold it helps him sleep a lot better and his congestion is less. It doesn't make any noise what-so-ever and puts out a great deal of mist/humidity. You have to be sure to follow the directions for use...it says add salt if you don't see any vapor action as some waters have too many or few chemicals based on city vs. well water. I am registering for a second one for our second child.

I read some of the reviews and totally disagree with them! I have had NO trouble with this product. It creates a soothing "white noise" and I can even see the mist in the air, it comes out so strongly. I have to refill it each night before I put my child to bed. One of the reviewers below must have a different product because there are no "orange lights" on this humidifier. It is very easy to use. You just have to make sure the filter is installed properly or you will get a humming sound.

I bought this product last year because where I lived we have ZERO moisture in the air, and I loved it!!! If you follow the directions properly you should have no problems using it. I could even go a few days without cleaning it and it worked like a charm. I never had it leak or not steam. I think the reviews that are stating it doesnt work must not have followed all directions (salt.) I like to put scented oils in the part that you are supposed to put the vicks and it fills my room with my favorite scent. I am buying another one for my office soon. Buy this product, if you arent a moron it should work for you!!

My daughter is 4 months old and she had stuffiness for almost 2wks and my dr said I should get a cool mist humidifier. I bought this one and I noticed a differance in her, in 2 days. She sleeps so much better now. It works great and is easy to use. I never put vicks or anything in it except water.
