Product Description Don't let its size fool you. Only 8" in diameter, this fan packs quite a punch in delivering circulation to stagnant, uncomfortable air. Sitting at a desk on a hot summer afternoon can make the day seem agonizing. Use this fan to supply yourself with a cool summer breeze. The versatile aerodynamic wind tunnel design provides you with a fast, focused cooling. Plus, with the three-speed motor (high, medium & low) you'll be able to find the breeze that's just right for you. If the different speeds don't offer you enough options, try using the variable tilt head that pivots a full 90-degree for use as an air circulator rather than a direct fan. The fan doesn't just offer you operational features; you also have the option to use it on your desk or on the wall (hardware included).
Amazon.com Review Cool off during the hot days of summer with this powerful turbo fan from Honeywell. The .52-amp fan sits alone or can be wall-mounted to provide a steady breeze. Tilting back 90 degrees, the fan also enhances air circulation in stagnant rooms and can assist in clearing smoke or hot air out of a room when pointed away from the room in question. Sleek in design, the compact fan fits into most interior design motifs. The fan features a convex grill to protect the high velocity blades and allow air to flow unhindered. A powers the fan. Three power settings offer flexibility for different cooling and environmental needs, including quiet operation with the lowest setting. The fan travels easily from one room to the next with the use of the convenient carrying handle. For mounting the fan, hardware must be purchased separately. Use a dry soft cloth to clean the fan. Prior to use, review the thorough safety guidelines in the owner's manual. This item does not disassemble and is covered by a limited-five-year warranty. The fan measures 11-3/8 by 6-1/2 by 11-1/8 inches and weighs 4 pounds upon shipping. --Jessica Reuling

Best fan for the money July 17, 2005 51 out of 53 found this review helpful
We bought two of these fans. They are nice looking, very sturdy, and safe to use around kids. More importantly, they do the job well, cooling rooms down quickly. We like to use them in doorways to pull in fresh air. They are also nice to use in rooms with computers on warm days. Even the three speed switch is sturdy and seems built to last many years. As for noise, these fans make an appropriate amount of noise for the amount of air they circulate. We are very pleased with this purchase.
SUPER FAN !!!! July 13, 2006 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have had this fan for 7 years, going on 8 ... This little fan has been going strong ever since with the exception of one summer two years back Oddly enough it went through a phase where I thought it was going to die and had to jump start it with a pencil... but this summer it has had no problems. OCCASIONALY there is a louder noise that would be what some of the other reviews are talking about, but it goes away.
I have never had it tip from being top heavy and have propped it purposfully on uneven tables to drastically change the position with out a problem. The lowest setting is still very effective and I just can't stress enough how long this fan has lasted... it runs almost constantly and is still going strong... in fact it's cooling me off at the computer right now!
Great little fan February 15, 2007 10 out of 13 found this review helpful
Small and powerful; it really circulates the air in the whole room.
I suppose it is a bit loud but nothing extreme; I use it in my bedroom and don't have any problems sleeping and it's good a drowning out background noise.
Great Little Blow Hard July 25, 2006 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These Honeywell Fans move more air with less power than any other small fan we have ever purchased. We bought five for the house to circulate air and cut down on the AC having to run and are completely satisfied with every aspect of this little blow hard.
Powerful And Sturdy (And A Great Dog Deterrent!) August 13, 2007 11 out of 15 found this review helpful
This little Honeywell fan is perfect for pushing a lot of air without taking up much space. I usually set it up at the hall entrances of my home to generate a little bit more air. Its small design keeps it out of the way. As many others have stated, it's rather loud for its size. However, the white noise it does generate perfectly eliminates outside noises that could wake you if you're taking a nap or settled in for the evening. For some bizarre reason my dog is afraid of it. She growls and barks at the fan whenever it is on. She hides from it once she realizes that it isn't going to leave the room. Luckily for her I usually keep this fan in my bedroom. It helps me and my wife (and now our newborn son) get to sleep.
I highly recommend this inexpensive, powerful little fan.
